Text Message Terms

These terms apply to text messages sent by Fem Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, through the Iron Planning Service. The Iron Planning Service helps patients referred by their clinic find a treatment center and schedule their treatment.

What we text about

Our texts are about your Iron Planning case: updates on your case, reminders, questions about your appointment, and replies from our care team. You can reply to our texts to reach the team. We do not send marketing, advertising or fundraising texts.

How you agree to receive texts

You choose to receive texts by ticking the text message box when you enroll at crm.femfoundation.org/enroll. Texts are optional. Agreeing to receive them is not a condition of receiving our help: your updates are always available on your Iron Planning page.

  • Message frequency varies, usually 1 to 3 messages a week while your case is open.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email info@femfoundation.org.

How to stop texts

Reply STOP to any of our texts at any time. You will receive one final message confirming that you have opted out, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in. To start receiving texts again, reply START. Stopping texts does not close your case: we will keep posting updates on your Iron Planning page.

Not for emergencies

Our care team handles logistics, not medical care. Do not use text messages for medical emergencies. If you have an emergency, call 911. For questions about symptoms, your dose or your labs, contact your clinic.

Carriers

Texts are available on major US mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the aggregators and providers that deliver our text messages. Read our full Privacy Policy.
