Program 03 · The Working Women Campaign

She isn't underperforming. She's under-treated.

Free iron screening at work, run by the Foundation, with one promise to the employer: Screen one. Fund one. For every employee screened, one infusion is funded for a woman outside your organization who cannot pay.

The case

The health issue that never makes it onto the agenda.

Iron deficiency is the most common nutritional deficiency in the world and it sits mostly in women of working age. It is cheap to find, quick to treat, and almost never looked for.

30–50%

of healthy women have no iron in reserve at all

What a screening day looks like

Half a day on site. Nothing for you to run.

01

Two weeks before

We plan it

A date, a room and a sign-up link. We bring the nurse, the tests and the bilingual intake team.

02

On the day

Twenty minutes

A free ferritin test and a short intake, on site, during working hours. No fasting, no forms to chase.

03

Within days

Results read

Every result is reviewed by a hematology team. Anyone with low iron is offered a video consult with a board-certified hematologist.

04

Nine days, on average

Treatment

IV iron through the network, covered by insurance or funded by the Foundation when it is not.

Nine days: average televisit-to-infusion, ASH 2023, Abstract 2314.

Screen one. Fund one.

The mechanic is the whole offer. Your organization hosts a free screening day for its own people. For every employee screened, the Foundation funds one infusion for a woman who cannot pay for hers. You get a screening day, a published impact receipt and a partner listing. She gets iron.

Who this is for

Two doors in.

For employers

Host a screening day.

HR and people teams, from a 40-person office to a hospital campus. We handle the clinical side end to end and report back on what your day paid for.

For employers

For clinicians

Refer her in nine days.

OB/GYNs, primary care and school nurses who see low iron every week and have nowhere fast to send it. One referral route, one navigator, no loop.

For clinicians

Iron is a women's issue.
Not a wellness trend.

Bring a screening day to your workplace this quarter. One email starts it, and the Foundation does the rest.
